With an impressive exercise by the Pakistan Armed Forces to demonstrate their professional training, the 12th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) officially began at the Expo Centre in Karachi. The expo, which takes place from November 19 to 22, brings together local defence items and foreign delegates to showcase a variety of military equipment.
In his briefing to the media, Commodore Atta Zaz Khalid, Director of Media at the Defence Ministry, highlighted the significance of IDEAS 2024. He emphasized that the exhibition serves as a major platform for Pakistan to showcase its domestic defense products while fostering international partnerships. The event will also include seminars on defense industries and meetings with industry leaders, further enhancing Pakistan’s strategic positioning.
By encouraging defence exports, stimulating the economy, and creating commercial and networking possibilities with international delegations, IDEAS 2024 is anticipated to provide Pakistan substantial economic advantages. The occasion is expected to boost defence production and knowledge transfer, which would help Pakistan’s defence industry expand overall.
